Provide a physician with technical and EHR experience who understands and can identify with their concerns so that their needs are understood
Communicate care-delivery and patient management issues to the technical staff in such a way that the technical staff is better able to understand them
a spokesperson for their concerns so their needs are communicated to development team.
Construct a long-term communication channel to that physician needs are communicated to the executive team, the implementation team, the EHR vendor and SISU and so that physicians may understand the needs of these groups as well
Work with the physician staff to help them develop a vision of the future
Provide a trusted neutral party that is not tied to an EHR vendor or large consulting firm.
